Swimsuit Guidelines/Expectations for 2005
In response to the many questions regarding appropriate bathing suites for delegates, People to People has set up the following guideline for 2005:
"A shirt, top or swimsuit (bikini) exposing a bare midriff is not appropriate for wear in hotel, street or public areas. Appropriate two-piece swimsuits may be worn while on the beach or in a pool area. They are not to be worn uncovered to/from the beach or pool or for any other activities. The Delegation Leaders should set expectations at the Orientation Meetings as to what suits are appropriate. Examples of inappropriate swim suits would be 'string bikini', transparent/translucent suits or those which do not adequately cover breasts and buttocks. Leaders may request that delegates wear a shirt over any swimsuit that is deemed inappropriate, even while swimming."
