Assignments

As you are working on your country assignments, your journal entries, and looking for relevant articles, you may be asking yourself, "Doesn't this seem a lot like school?" Well, there is a good reason you should feel that way! Part of the whole People to People experience is learning, and earning credit for your learning. As part of your program fee, you are earning high school credit. Did you know you also have the opportunity to earn college credit? How cool will it be to apply to the college of your choice, and be able to include on your application the fact you have already earned college credit associated with your travel adventure? College credit does require a little additional work, and there is a slight fee involved. However, the rewards are well worth it. Eastern Washington University has a special web page devoted to this topic; I encourage you to visit it. Here is the link: http://www.ewu.edu/x6309.xml

When you visit this page, see if you can make a connection with what you learned in the video shown during our January meeting. To make it easier, I'll even give you a hint: Eisenhower.
