Our first meeting!
Our social meeting has been scheduled. First off, let me apologize if it is inconvenient for anyone. Working between holiday schedules and meeting room availability, this truly was the best I could come up with. If you cannot make it, I apologize, and ask that you simply email me to let me know it is not convenient for you.
That having been said, the meeting is on Saturday, December 18th, at 5:00 P. M., at the Gig Harbor library. My hope is that having it at 5:00 allows those who might have evening functions time to get on to them, while those with earlier commitments would be finished. For those families who can attend, the meeting should last only about an hour. We will discuss fundraising and future meeting dates, times, and locations. So, please bring your family calendars!
Now about the location; for those whose interviews were in Gig Harbor, it is the same library, even the same room. For everyone else, the address is 4424 Point Fosdick Dr., Gig Harbor, WA 98335. Coming from Tacoma, cross the Narrows Bridge and take the Olympic Dr. exit. Take a left at the end of the off ramp, and cross over the freeway. At the 2nd light (Point Fosdick Dr.), turn left again. The library is on your right, about a quarter mile down the road.
From Port Orchard, take Highway 16 to the Olympic Dr. Exit. At the end of the off ramp turn right, and get in the left lane. Turn left at the first light (Point Fosdick Dr.).
